This instrument is intended for advanced experiments.

Instrument is not in the booking system yet. It is currently in its beta-phase.
Please refer to the Sample preparation (MS, LC-MS).
Load the reference tunefile - C:\Data\_TuneFiles\calmix_reference.LTQTune.
Fast-forward the syringe pump till you see a drop at the ESI head.
Start syringe-pump (it should be tuned to 5 μl/min).
Turn off the ESI, scan settings: 5 microscans, 1ms injection time.
Wait 2-3 minutes for the signal to stabilize.
Check that the injection time (IT) is 1 ms or below.
Measure the calmix for 2 minutes and average the signal. Calmix measurement should be saved into C:\Data\_Tunemix_check\[year_month_day_start/end]
Take a note in the labbook.
Disconnect the calmix-only red tube and do not use it for your experiments.
Measure what you need with any tunefile you need.
Safe your files into your folder - C:\Data\[your name].
Get the instrument clean again.
Measure the calmix (same procedure as at the beginning).
Check that things are switched off at the end.
